What Will We Catch: Yellowtail Snapper, Mangroves, Mutton Snapper, Grouper, Porgies, Jacks, Kingfish

On our drift fishing trips, we go out to the reef and bottom fish for the multitudes of species we have on the reefs. Main target is always snappers, but you can catch just about anything out there. Mates will help throughout the trip with baiting, rigging, netting fish. They also clean your catch for you after the trip.

4 Hour Night Anchor Fishing Trip

Duration: 4 Hours

Cost: $65/Adult or $40/Child

Trip Time: 7:30pm-11:30pm every night (EXCEPT SATURDAY)

Fishing Techniques: Anchor and Chumming

What Will We Catch: Yellowtail Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Red Grouper, Black Grouper, Grunts, Strawberry Grouper and More
At night, snappers come out of the woodwork to feed. We anchor the boat and chum the waters heavily and draw the fish to us. Then we just drop down to the bottom and catch the hungry fish that swam up into the chum-line. It’s the best trip for catching numbers of fish, most of them small to medium snappers and lots of them. Some big fish are caught on this trip such as mutton snapper, groupers and night sharks.

6 Hour Saturday Night Special Anchor Fishing Trip

Duration: 6 Hours

Cost: $80/Adult or $55/Child

Trip Time: 7:30pm-1:30am Saturday Night Only

Night time is king for snappers. On this trip we do the same techniques that we do on all our night fishing trips (anchoring and chumming), but we stay out late and catch the late night snapper bite. When you anchor and chum, it takes time to get the fish to swim up into the chum line. And sometimes the bite doesn’t even start until 10pm or later. The late night Saturday night trip stays late to get those late night snappers.

On these trips, we go fishing for the biggest fish off our coastline.  We fish less lines than the drift boat does, so we are able to do different techniques that catch much larger fish.  We usually have enough time to try a couple different techniques to catch a variety of fish.
